Since Ukraine finally obtained independence in 1991, the issue of national security and its various components had always been relevant – but since February 24th, there has been an urgent need to update our country’s defensive military doctrine. First of all, it is necessary to strengthen the armed protection of national interests with the development of domestic missile defense systems (AMD): daily missile strikes on Ukraine by the aggressor state cause severe casualties and suffering, as well as destruction of infrastructure and civilian facilities – which leads to economic losses worth hundreds of millions of dollars a day.

The problem is, russian missiles have small dimensions, high speed, low altitude and active resistance to available air defense / anti-missile systems. The majority of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are armed with outdated soviet air defense systems, and the newer systems provided by our allies as part of international assistance do not solve the issue completely. It is necessary to detect missiles as early as possible to successfully intercept them with missile defense systems.

A group of companies has developed an innovative project for producing domestic equipment – the “Shield” Anti-Missile System. As of June 17, 60% of the test prototype has been completed; however, due to the difficult economic situation in Ukraine, there is a lack of funding for the project.

In agreement with the Ministry of Defense, we have all the necessary documents to involve external investors. We request that everyone who is not indifferent to contribute to defense projects in order to help preserve the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine and its citizens and make an effective resistance to Russia’s military aggression.

All expenses will be reported on without delay.
